Our boutique barns offer a refined, peaceful environment where horses are cared for with comfort, intention, and respect - supported by experienced professionals who deliver thoughtful horsemanship and training.
Training programs at Boxwood Hill are offered in partnership with Reiners Ridge, led by NRHA-certified professional Lyndsay Kloster. With more than a decade of competitive and coaching experience across Canada and the United States, Lyndsay brings a thoughtful and disciplined approach to horsemanship that aligns with the calm, horse-first philosophy of Boxwood Hill.
Lyndsay offers reining, ranch horse riding, English riding and clinics.
Bond with your horse where comfort comes naturally with private coaching, gentle trail riding on site and miles of trails just minutes away in the Durham forest.

Boxwood Hill partners with Reiners Ridge to bring exceptional horsemanship to the property.
Led by Lyndsay Kloster, an NRHA‑certified professional with over a decade of competitive and coaching experience across Canada and the United States, Reiners Ridge now operates it's southern location at Boxwood Hill.
Reiners Ridge combines a strong competitive foundation with thoughtful instruction. Early in her career, Lyndsay earned distinction as a member of the FEI Young Riders Ontario Reining Team for two consecutive years and has since achieved multiple Year‑End Champion and Reserve Champion titles in the Ontario Reining Horse Association and National Reining Horse Association circuits.
Lyndsay trains alongside respected NRHA Level 4 professionals, integrating advanced techniques into her comprehensive program that fosters confident, skilled horse‑and‑rider partnerships.
Since 2010, Lyndsay has operated Reiners Ridge, serving riders throughout the York Region, Durham Region, and surrounding areas. With a primary focus on Reining and Ranch Riding, her program offers inclusive services for riders of all experience levels, including training, coaching, and showing.
