EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING
Experiential Learning and Team Building

At Boxwood Hill, Equine Assisted Learning offers individuals and teams the opportunity to slow down, step out of habitual patterns, and engage in meaningful learning through direct experience using horses.
Guided by a certified Equine-Assisted Learning Facilitator, these sessions use structured, ground-based interactions with horses to support personal awareness, leadership development, communication, and team cohesion. No riding is involved. Instead, participants work alongside the horses using obstacles to observe their responses and reflect on what emerges in real time.
Horses are uniquely responsive to presence, intention, and non-verbal communication. They offer immediate, honest feedback — free from hierarchy or agenda — creating a powerful mirror for how individuals and teams show up, collaborate, and lead. The learning unfolds through observation, dialogue, and insight, rather than instruction or performance.
Programs are thoughtfully designed for:
-
Leadership and executive development
-
Team building and organizational growth
-
Communication, trust, and decision-making
-
Change, transition, and values alignment
Equine Assisted Learning is offered in half-day and full-day programs, with insights designed to integrate seamlessly back into the workplace.
